Merchandising

In a nutshell, merchandising is a job where you are responsible for going to a store and maintaining a manufacturerÂ’s line of products.

This may include:

  • Straightening displays
  • Setting up new displays
  • Taking inventory
  • Stocking shelves
  • Ordering out of stock materials
  • Putting up signs/banners

Can I work part time?

You may have a weekly or monthly route. Most assignments take between 1-3 hours and are very flexible with the hours. Most merchandising jobs are only part time, but you can work for as many different companies that you want at the same time.

How much money can I make?

That is completely up to you. The more places you apply, the more opportunities you will have. This type of work usually pays $9-$20 per hour and many companies pay mileage.
